Monochrome Factor, Vol. 4 [DVD Box Set]

This will probably be the last post for a little while, since as soon as the day is out I will be writing five or six papers.

We would also like to inform that Wolfy's computer is still out, but she's going to try and find another solution for subbing. But, just in case she can't, we would like everyone to not bother us about episode 15 for the next few weeks. No, we have not given up on the series. No, we are not shutting down, and no, complaining about it WILL NOT get the episode out faster. Just be patient, and we're going to try and keep goodies like seiyuu chat translations and other such things coming up in the meantime.

With that said... BOX 4 SCANS YAAAAYYYYY. 8D

Slipcover. *_*

Front cover. Quite nice, actually.

And there you go! Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Monochrome Factor, Vol. 3 [DVD Box Set]

So I guess I don't get my game until Thursday. -sigh-

But that's good for you guys anyway. Here are box 3 scans for you:

As always I apologize for the un-centeredness, but I think you all know how to deal, right? ;)

Box 4 should be here next week. Look forward to that!

Monochrome Factor, Vol. 2 [DVD Box Set]

Hello everyone!

My MF box set number 2 arrived just the other day! So, here I'll share the images with you. :)

The front slipcover. My favourite.

The box front cover.

I forgot to mention before that if you take the images here and use them elsewhere to please give credit to us, MR-S. I've spent a lot of money on these DVDs and I would greatly dislike it if someone took the pictures and started handing them out like they were free without crediting my hard-earned ($60 and up) money that went into these.

On another note, I've finished translating the first half of episode 14 and am working on the second half. It's my hope that I can have the script finished by this weekend, but we'll just have to see.

Please enjoy the pictures!

Monochrome Factor, Vol. 1 [DVD Box Set]

Hello everyone! yusahana6323 speaking!

As many of you (probably don't) know, I've committed a good chunk of my paycheck to buying the first-press release of the Japanese Monochrome Factor DVDs, which come with all sorts of goodies. My first set just came the other day, so I thought I would share the scans of the covers with you all:

The front special slip cover. Me likes, very much.

The actual DVD cover.

The DVD back cover.

Sorry the colouring is off - I'm having issues with both my scanner and Photoshop at the moment, so you'll have to make do with these (plus, the texturing on the slipcover and the plastic overlay on the DVD box affect the way the colours look). As soon as I can get better quality scans, I'll be sure to upload them.

The bonus DVD has two features - one with Suwabe Junichi (Shirogane) and Ono Daisuke (Akira) in a radio booth, accompanied by Saiga Mitsuki (Haruka), where they chat about the episodes, talk about the extras on the DVDs, and do other fun things (like humourous re-dubs). The other feature is Suwabe-sama and Ono-sama again, but with Kamiya Hiroshi (Kengo), where they just have a little chat. The actual DVD itself has remastered episodes with some little goodies that they didn't put on TV.

So, the question here is... do you want us to post the extras? If so, do you want subtitles? I've put up a poll on the sidebar just out of interest. Feel free to vote, because the Trinity does have your interests in mind, but please remember that ultimately it is our decision, and we are not bound to do it if we don't feel it's something we want.

Go vote! Maybe you'll convince us. ;P

Working on translating episode 14, but the script probably won't be finished for a couple weeks. I need to take a little bit of time to get ahead on schoolwork and remaster things I've forgotten so I can afford to do translating and other such fun things in my spare time (I refuse to sacrifice my grades for this. Apologies). I'm also discussing going abroad with my family (either to Japan or London), so that's another thing I need to focus on. I hope you guys understand and will be patient.

Please also understand that the more you heckle us, the less we want to do subbing. Subbing is a privilege, not a right. Ymmarratteko?

Thank you, and have a nice day!

P.S. We at MR-S are proud to be US citizens. Please spare a moment, if you can, to think of 9/11/01 and those that gave their time and energy, and even their lives, to aid those in need, and to think of the families of those that lost their lives in these attacks. Thank you.
